Last year, I have 3 hanging, all straightened back out slowly as the fruit started to weigh them down. This year, before there were any fruit, 2 broke off in 2 separate wind storms. I have them in a different location this year, apparently in a wind tunnel between my house and a maple tree.I would leave them. The photo-tropism eventually gives way and the leaves twist over instead of the main stem.
