Tomatoes are great about sending out new roots - stick the broken stems in water .. they will root and you will have another plantI used to run a gas station, had a nursery truck come in and they had neglected to tie down all the flats .. as a result they wanted to dump them in my garbage - I had them put in my car instead .. all the broken stems and root balls were repotted and babied a bit .. all the tops got the stems recut if torn, bottom leaves taken off and stuck in water... They rooted great - I had a HUGE garden that yearIf you hit a sale of leggy tomatoes cut them in half, put the top half in water and you will have double the plantsRia
