Well I took the advice of GoChargers and installed a swivel snap at the top of my pails. I had 2 problems to solve. 1, my planters were real close to the mounting beam, so the beans, peas, and cucumbers I had in the top were having some issues. 2, I wanted to be able to spin the pail so I can see the other side. My daughters porch and planters are on the 3rd floor and it is hard to step out in the air and pick the beans or even see them, for that matter. (unless you are a gnome. For more on that, read my blog about the planters.) I found some that were listed as 600lbs at Menard's Home Supply, so I bought them.
